Do It For Dolly Day
Friday 27th May 2022
On this day, students and staff, dress in blue to support the Dolly’s Dream Foundation in their aim to change ‘the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, though education and direct support to young people and families.’
This year, the College community celebrated this day on Friday 27th May, with students and staff invited to dress in blue for a gold coin donation. There was positive participation from all the school community.
The SRC also initiated a group-order of ‘Dolly’s Dream’ merchandise (work shirts and
t-shirts) to further support the cause. Unfortunately, the order did not arrive until the week after the day, due to the size of the order needing be embroidered.
Through the sale of Dolly’s Dream merchandise, the College raised $1,800.
Gold coin donations on the day raised a further $155.
All the school community should feel enormously proud of their support for this important charity.
