New School Nurse
We are very excited to announce our new school nurse, Tania Scarce, will be joining our learning community. Tania comes highly recommended and will be a brilliant asset to the College. We look forward to all the wonderful work she will be doing with the students throughout 2022.
Booklists – Online
Booklists should now be available to access through our College's website and Compass as well as our eNews Newsletter. We know there have been several families who are trying to get organised early in preparation for the 2022 school year and we apologise for the delay.
Year 10 Work Experience
Year 10 students completed Work Experience last week. The feedback we have received was positive and most of the students commented that the experience was worthwhile. Rogan Hando was lucky enough to work at North Central News and has written an article in this week’s edition.
New Enrolments
We have had ten new enrolments at the College over the last few weeks, across most year levels. These are very exciting times for the College and the community, and we welcome all the new families who will be joining us in 2022.
Year 9 Attendance NCTTC
There is only one day remaining for our current 2021, Year 9 students attending the NCTTC which is next Wednesday, 1st December.
Vaccine Requirements
In accordance with the current guidelines from the Department of Education, all visitors to the school need to meet vaccination requirements; this does include parents. Evidence of vaccination or medical exemption need to be shown at the Front Office. At the moment only one dose of a vaccine is required, however, by November 29th full vaccination will be needed. Families need to be aware many camps and excursions will need students to be vaccinated or evidence of a medical exemption. This is because of the vaccination requirements at venues and accommodation facilities used as part of camps or excursions, not because of a school requirement.
Year 7 2022 Enrolments
Just a reminder, that if families have not received an enrolment pack, they are available at the General Office here at the Secondary College. It would be greatly appreciated if enrolment packs with all required documentation could be returned as soon as possible.

On Thursday, 18th November the Year 12 students along with parents and teachers celebrated their time at St. Arnaud Secondary College. We attended the St. Arnaud Racecourse with wood fired pizza from Pizza de Wheels. A slide show ran during the night with photos of the students throughout their time at the College. We celebrated the achievements of the students and wish them well in their endeavours for the future.
