Parent Payments 2021


 

St. Arnaud Secondary College is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of St. Arnaud Secondary College’s parent payment arrangements for 2021.

 

St. Arnaud Secondary College makes every effort to keep the cost of items and activities to a minimum and affordable for all parents.

 

St. Arnaud Secondary College Council is committed to providing the best possible learning opportunities for all our students. In order to support our students and parents throughout the year, the College makes available to all students many items and services that are generally funded by parents.

 

Parent Payments make it possible for the College to maintain its high standards of education.

 

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development has a policy for “Parent Payments in Victorian Government Schools”. The St. Arnaud Secondary College Council ensures compliance with the DEECD policy and associated guidelines, when undertaking their implementation and administration.

 

Financial Support for Families

St. Arnaud Secondary College understands that some families may experience financial difficulty and offers a range of support options, including:

  • the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund
  • State School Relief
  • Second hand options
  • School Welfare Department

Payment Arrangements and Options

  • Methods of payment are BPAY, cash or cheque.
  • Parents will be provided with early notification of annual payment requests and reasonable notice will be given for any other payment requests during the year (i.e. excursions, camps)
  • The College offers Parents the option to make payment by instalments. Please contact Kerrie Swanton Business Manager to make these arrangements.
  • Eligible families that receive Camps, Sport & Excursion Funds can allocated these funds for sports travel, camps and excursions.
  • The payment for Optional Items including camps and excursions must be paid by the specified due date prior to departure.
  • Answers to any queries and details of payment options are available by contacting the General Office 5495 1811. The office is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm each school day.

The 2021 Parent Payment Fee Schedule information will be mailed to families and the schedule can be located on the College Website.
